Balsamic Tomato Salad

5 Minute balsamic tomato salad! This quick and easy salad recipe is ready perfect a simple summer meals or cookouts.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Cherry or grape tomatoes sliced in half
  • 2 oz Fresh mozzarella pearls aka mini balls
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh basil chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • Balsamic glaze drizzled on top

Instructions
 

  • Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and place them in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Add mozzarella pearls to the mixing bowl.
  • Mince the garlic and add it to the bowl.
  • Drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  • Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Mix well until the tomatoes and mozzarella are evenly coated with oil and vinegar.
  • Chop fresh basil
  • Just before serving, gently toss the salad with the chopped basil and finish with a generous drizzle of balsamic glaze.
