What our patients say:
Wellness Resolutions is different. They offer personal, tailor made nutrition plans. (I was skeptical at first.) But now, my clothes fit better and many people have complimented my improvements. I now have more energy, and with that, I look forward to new challenges. They taught me not only how to eat but also self-maintenance. I now keep busy with life. Learning new things, activities – with the proper nutrition to make it all possible.

I have several health conditions. Can your team accommodate my needs?
How fast can I expect to lose weight with my personal nutritionist?
We immediately help you stop the weight loss rollercoaster, stop the crazy diets and stop the stress you feel around food. Instead, we help you transform how you eat so that it’s enjoyable, sustainable, flexible and effective in achieving your weight loss goals.
Can a nutritionist prescribe medication for weight loss such as Ozempic, Wegovy or Zepbound? Do you prescribe supplements?
Across the board, Registered Dietitians and Nutritionists can NOT prescribe any medications (including weight loss drugs like Ozempic, Wegovy of Zepbound). However, we can and will communicate with and make recommendations to your medical team if we feel this may be a good option for you.
When it comes to supplements and meal replacements, these are used on a case-by-case basis. After our initial assessment, your customized nutrition plan will include recommendations that are meant to provide lasting change with an emphasis on real food. For some people meal replacement shakes may be a good option, but they are not for everyone.
Do you have specialists like a diabetes dietitian OR a bariatric nutritionist on staff?
Yes! We have Registered Dietitians (RD/RDN) who are also Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE) and that have experience as a bariatric nutritionist. Our team can create a customized nutrition plan and clarify how to manage diabetes. A bariatric nutritionist can help you manage your weight before or after surgery.
Many clients with diabetes come to us confused and frustrated by their medication regimen and don’t understand what they can and can’t eat. With our “eat, don’t diet” approach, we formulate an eating style that allows you to manage your blood sugar, lose weight (if applicable) and still enjoy the foods you love.
How long are the in-person, phone or online nutrition coaching sessions?
Follow-up appointments range from 30-60 minutes, depending on your availability. We can definitely get things done and make improvements in a 30-minute session! Many of our clients book a video chat or phone call appointment during their lunch break, and we’re happy to accommodate.

How often do I meet with my personal nutritionist?
In general, if you’re working with a dietitian for weight loss, we advise being seen every 1-2 weeks. If you’re managing health conditions (like working with our diabetes dietitian, for example) we advise being seen every 2-4 weeks.
For many of our patients, check-ins are more frequent in the beginning. Then, as they make improvements and get comfortable with their nutrition plan, follow-up nutrition coaching can be completed via 1-4 nutrition wellness checks per year.
